Sat Nav theft from Car

We had our car broken into and our Sat Nav stolen whilst parked on the Christchurch Estate at the end of August. Our estate caretaker believed this had happened to as many as 30 other cars on our estate and all the way down Victoria Park Road that same week. I haven't hear anything since so I assume this mini crime wave has now ended, but be warned about leaving tell tail signs of a Sat Nav, like the windscreen suction pad or the marks it leaves on the glass.

I'm always interested to hear about burglaries or incidents when they happen, so I can be extra vigilant and security concious. Of course, hopefully such things never happen in the first place!
