Damage During kitchen/heating upgrade

Hi - am new on here. Anyone had damage to their possessions during recent works? I bought a washing machine in January just before work started (I know, silly but I need one with a young child). It is scraped and the bottom cover broken and it was brand new! What can I do about this? Any suggestions?

I would suggest contacting the Crown Estate on 020 7255 4100. They should be at least able to tell you what to do next.
